Assessment/Placement

NDI-New Mexico School for the Performing Arts Instructors are committed to ensuring every dancer’s success. Instructors will objectively assess each student’s progress throughout the year to ascertain strengths and weaknesses. Formal evaluations help dancers and instructors focus on specific skills for improvement and determine readiness to be promoted to a more challenging class. Placement changes occur at the discretion of instructors with consideration given to age, ability and maturity.
