Summer Programs

NDI New Mexico at The Dance Barns offers creative and fun programs for students ages three-sixteen. Younger children (ages 3-6) will enjoy a short series of creative movement classes and older dancers (ages 7-16) can choose from immersion sessions in Dance or Musical Theatre. Intermediate/advanced dancers are also encouraged to enroll in challenging technique classes offered on a per-class basis.

Summer Immersion 2011

July 5-15, 2011
9am - 3pm
Tuesday - Friday/Monday - Friday

• Our two-week, full-day Summer Immersion programs offer students a choice between a Dance or Musical Theatre emphasis.
• Dance students focus on ballet, modern and jazz technique; Musical Theatre students take technique classes in voice,acting and dance.
• Afternoons for all students are spent working on a musical production to be performed at the end of the immersion.
• Participants are accepted based on readiness for the program and then on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cost: $475 for full tuition.

Enrollment is limited, please submit your application early.
Sliding scale tuition is available with proof of income from your 2009 taxes.

Young Children’s Summer Dance Series at The Dance Barns

Ages 3 - 5*

*2.5 Year olds may try the class for developmental ability
placement and permission to attend.

This class is the perfect introduction into the magical world of dance! It incorporates Ballet, Tap, and Creative Movement (Jazz.) The entire curriculum is taught in an age appropriate, fun, environment, with a special emphasis on creative imagination.

Dance, Dance, Dance!!

Ages 5 – 8

Try a new style of dance or just enjoy all of your favorites! Dance, Dance, Dance, offers Ballet on Mondays, Jazz on Wednesdays, and Tap on Fridays! This fun summer series is a great way to experience different types of dance techniques. Join us and have three times the fun this summer!
