Afterschool Programs
NDI New Mexico has been working within Covid regulations to build a three-stage plan for re-opening for in-person classes at The Hiland and The Dance Barns.
However, due to the current CDC Guidelines and Governor Lujan Grisham’s orders the Winter Trimester will have limited in-person classes.
Young Children's Division
Dance classes for children ages 3-6, grounded in joyful and creative explorations of dance and music, the earliest introduction to dance education supports early childhood development and creative expression.
Junior and Senior Divisions
Dance classes for ages 7-18, with beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, and Hip Hop.
Pre-Professional Division
The Pre-Professional Division consists of Advanced level dance classes in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, and Hip Hop, and our performing troupes: Junior Company, Apprentice Company, and Company XCel.
Workshops & Master Classes
Special events available to the public without the need to enroll in our year-round dance programs. We connect master teachers from around the world to the dancers of New Mexico. Some workshops and classes are available for students as young as 8 years old.
Adult Division
The Adult Division is designed for adults who want to start, or continue, their dance training. The Adult Division is only for adults ages 18 and over. We offer dance classes in ballet, tap, and fitness.
Public School Outreach
NDI New Mexico brings award-winning arts and healthy lifestyle programs to underserved children in urban, rural and Native American communities throughout New Mexico. Our elementary school Outreach program is offered in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Northern New Mexico and in Residency programs throughout the state.
