Teaching Excellence ®

Our Teaching Excellence® workshop is a 2 week introductory program wherein we teach dance instructors our methodology.

Teaching Excellence® participants are immersed in a highly focused and hands-on training in NDI New Mexico’s methodology, working daily with public school students in 3rd-6th grade. Trainees work closely with NDI New Mexico’s most experienced teachers to learn and practice a broad range of techniques and curriculum with students.

The program culminates in an exciting performance where teachers and students get to display their accomplishments for an audience of friends and families!

“This methodology benefitted me so much as an aspiring dance educator. I learned not only how to inspire kids to dance, but also to become better people through dance!”

Learn our techniques for getting children’s minds and bodies moving. Learn to prove that joyful effort, tenacity and teamwork can equal success in life.

“I learned so much about classroom management; how to be quick, authoritative, concise, and keep students engaged!”

Work daily with public school students in 3rd through 6th grade. Workshop teaching tools that will make you a fast-paced and dynamic teacher, and immediately implement your new skills with students.

“Tons of fun, I never knew I could learn so much in two weeks!”

Perform with your students at the end of the workshop

Lasting Impact

“This workshop changed my whole outlook on teaching; I interact with children in a whole new way.”

After the two-week training you will embody a huge range of new teaching skills that will serve you in any field of dance education.
