SANTE FE, NM—Feb. 8, 2016— NDI New Mexico at The Dance Barns is showcasing their most advanced dancers in Spring Into Motion- their annual Spring Show. A quartet of rising male stars will perform “Sentinel,” a lyrical ballet by David Berkey. Their most advanced dancers will perform a world premiere by Los Angeles-based choreographer, Jessica Starr, in a contemporary work with a focus on social change. The performance will take place March 4-5 at 7pm and March 6 at 2pm.
“It’s exciting to see our advanced students take the stage. Their commitment is incredible. Each and every one of them is excited to perform.” -NDI New Mexico Program Director, Allegra Lillard.
“Students who participate in our programs have an opportunity to experience excellence through the arts. The experience of learning and performing choreography of this caliber is both a dream and challenge for a dancer; the expectation for technique and performance quality is very high. I am proud and excited to see that our students are up to both!” -Executive Director of NDI New Mexico, Russell Baker.
